Since we have arrived in SC, we have had limited Internet access. I am researching our options for Internet while traveling and staying in remote areas. Hopefully, we will have our Internet up and running soon. But for now, we are thankful for our family letting us log on when time allows.
We have been quite busy since we arrived. It seems like every other day I am reorganizing our bus and learning more about the things we need to live in such small quarters. I am thankful that God has allowed us the time to "camp" in the yards of our family while we are getting prepare to leave on our journey. It is learning experience for ALL of us. I have learned that paper bowls, plates, and plastic silver keeps me from standing in the kitchen washing dishes for an hour. Not to mention that I have to heat the hot water in the coffee maker before, during and after washing dishes. This just makes me want to sit down and drink coffee NOT wash dishes! The children are learning to FIND things to play. We have examined tree frogs, earthworms, Granddaddy long-legs, and much more. We are all learning that we have to use our inside voices and everyone has to take turns passing in the hallway. Jeff is learning how to cook outside and he is succeeding. He is a great cook.
Jeff and I are growing spiritually as we study God's Word, hear local pastors and pray.
On August 30th, we went to our home church. It was so nice to be worshipping with our Hepsibah family again. We could feel the presence of God, heard His Word boldly preached and felt His love in our church family. God reminded us that we must GIVE - GIVE ALL we have and give it out of LOVE for HIM. (Pastor John - we miss hearing you bring the Word each week. Thanks for your faithfulness all these years.)
This Sunday, we visited Welcome Baptist church. It was a blessing to get to worship with my sister and her family. God used Rev. Roberts to confirm that we are doing what HE has called us to do. We are to DO everything for God. We both are amazed at the work that God has done in our life and we are excited to be given the opportunity to tell others about what God has done, can do and WILL do if they have a relationship with His Son - Jesus.
Yesterday, we went hiking and took lots of pictures. Hopefully, I will get them on here soon. ( Thanks Donnie - We all had a wonderful time enjoying God's creation.)
Until the next post - Missy :)
