This morning I discovered that the sunrise over the Chihuahuan Desert is beautiful. Not to mention that I can sleep an hour later to see the sun make it debut.
Today, Sierra discovered that she is NOT supposed to touch the Blind Prickly Pear Cactus. Just because you can NOT see the spines - they are there. Well, now some of them are in Sierra's thumb.
We discovered that Sanderson, TX has a really good Brisket Burrito at the Convenience Store. If you are every in this area, be aware that there is no where to get a good meal. There is not any fast food restaurants either.
We discovered that Dryden, TX does not have a public toilet. Hannah needed to attend to some business but we couldn't find a bathroom. Jeff told her that we could pull over and she could go on the side of the road. She said, "Daddy, I need a real toilet. You know like the one at home. I don't want to use a cactus."
We discovered the Judge Roy Bean Visitor Center. (more on this later)
Across from the visitor center is a spectacular view of Mexico. We took some beautiful pictures that I will post later.
