Headed Home!!!

Sierra wrote this post when we were headed home. She wanted me to post it. Sorry it is so late getting on the blog, Sierra.

We are headed home, that’s right back to S.C then to our house in T.N!!!

I will not lie, I am happy to be going home, I miss my friends, family, our house and I do not think I will miss being on the bus at all. I mean my Big 10x8 room compared to my 3x5 cubicle on the bus, it is much nicer and I like it a lot more. We will be returning to the road soon as possible once we figure out the situation with the van and a few other problems. Mom and Dad do not know how long we will be home. It could be any where from 2-4 months maybe more maybe less, We are leaving home and returning to traveling in the Lord’s hands. I know I’m going to miss friends and family even more after going to see them again. But also I have seen how God has used us in people’s lives and how he has grown and changed me; so, I can not wait to see what He has in store for me when we hit the road again.


What I find funny is when we first started I did not want to be here, but about and month ago, I finally became content with the Lord’s plan and the space we had. And now the Lord has us going home, go figure. Now, it makes me wonder what is the reason God has changed out path. Also the day Dad and Mom thought about going home to get a different van, we get a call from our family saying that my Grandmother (my Dad’s mom) fell and broke her wrist and is having surgery next week. PLEASE PRAY EVERYTHING GOES WELL WITH HER. I find it strange that both of these events happened on the same day. As I get older, I am starting to see how God uses big and little things that happen to us for His glory and our good. I have seen that so much in the past year. I think it is fun to look back and think about when I was confused, did not know what to do, and struggling. Then to see how, now I am stronger, closer to God, how I have changed and what I have learned from those circumstances. I think it is going to be cool to find out what God has in store for us by retuning home!!!!! Please pray for my Grandmother, safe travels, Dad gets good sleep, and that Mom and Dad make a good decision about a van.
