Here We Go Again!

Do any of you remember the song Here I Go Again by Whitesnake? If not click on the title and the song with lyrics will come up.

As I was thinking about how to write this blog post this song popped into my mind.  I just started to smile as the lyrics rushed back to my memory from years ago.  As I was singing it (Be thankful that you didn't have to endure it because I was really having fun and your ears would have NEEDED the ear buds.), I realized how relevant it was to this post.

So without saying anymore:

HERE WE GO AGAIN!!!

No, we don't know where we are going, But we sure know where we've been. We are not hanging on the promises in songs of yesterday but on the promises that God has made for our family.  Promises to protect us, and guide us as we follow wherever He leads.

We have made up our minds, we ain't wasting no more time. Tho' we keep searching for answers, we know who holds them. Oh Lord, we pray You give us strength to carry on, 'Cos we know what it means to walk alone and we don't want to take a step without You.

 An' here we go again NOT on our own. Goin' down the road where God leads. Thankful that we are not walking alone! An' we've made up our minds, we ain't wasting no more time. There are hearts in need of rescue waiting on God's forgiveness and love.

 An' we're gonna hold on for the rest of our days, 'Cos we know what it means to walk alone and we'd prefer to walk a steady walk with Jesus. So, here we go again, Here We Go Again,
