Today, we left Dallas. Jeff was driving about 25 minutes when the driver's side windshield wiper stopped working. Yes, it was raining. Thankfully, God had it under His control. The rain stopped about 5 minutes later.
Then about 30 minutes later. We had a FIRE on board the bus right behind the drivers seat. Jeff saw flames - yelled and I saw smoke. (My reaction to emergencies are not quick.) Jeff yelled again - "Unplug it". We had a fire in our inverter. At this time we are not sure why or how it happened but it did. We are blest to have been able to get the bus pulled over, the inverter unplugged, and NO damage to the bus. We no longer have power while driving down the road but we still have a bus. GOD IS SO GOOD! Now, we are praying that He directs us to an inverter that is not hundreds of dollars. We know that if we NEED it He will provide it. We can look back on all the things HE has provided for the bus and we know that HE is still in control.
I am choosing not to think on all the things that "Could" have happened today. I am choosing to Praise God for alerting us, directing us, and thanking Him that we are all well, safe, and warm.
My verse for tonight was : "I took you from the ends of the earth, from its farthest corners I called you. I said, 'You are my servant';I have chosen you and have not rejected you. So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." Isaiah 41:9-10
GOD IS WITH US - HE IS DIRECTING US.
We sit amazed - Who are we?- Just normal people who love Jesus and want to serve Him.
