Today, we discovered how to travel on a highway with a Border Patrol Stop. We explained to the children about the border and why we have Border Patrol Stops. We pointed out that Mexico was on one side and the USA on the other. Even after explaining to Melissa and all the children that we are still in the USA, Melissa thinks she is now in Mexico. I don't know what else to tell her but she is not understanding that we didn't cross the border. LOL
Sierra discovered that we do not have cell service. She can not text her friends. We are getting Internet service via the campground but it is slow.
Jeff discovered that he does not like to be 100 miles from a restaurant.
I discovered that maybe we need to take a road trip in the van tomorrow. We have been in the bus for 2 days because of the cold. There are only a few people in the park. Jeff did meet the park host today and we are all going over to their campsite tomorrow evening.
Pray for us for the next 3 days. The temperature here is below 20 degrees tonight and is predicted to be below 25 for the next 3 days. Jeff has put stuff in the water lines to keep them from freezing so hopefully all will be well in the am.
We've suffered with no cell phone service before too! And no internet! What's a person to do....really?!
ReplyDeleteOur water is frozen...not in our camper..for the past week! Thankfully it's supposed to heat up on Sunday and the frozen pipes did not reach to the bathhouse!:)
