What's Your Number?

Yesterday, Hannah came to me and asked, "Mommy, do I have a phone?" I thought this was a little strange because she knows she does not have a phone but I just played along and replied, "No, Hannah you do not have a phone."

Then she said, "Well, why is Daddy asking me what my number is?" She goes onto say, "When you ask someone 'What is your number?', it means you are asking for their phone number."  After laughing a little, I said, "Daddy is asking you what your Blood Glucose number was when you last pricked your finger."

Hannah looked annoyed and said, "Well, why doesn't he just ask that!"
