One evening after dinner, everyone put on their pajamas and set out to watch the sun set over the canyon at Caprock Caprock Canyon State Park.
Melissa and Sierra waiting patiently.
Andrew waiting for sun to disappear. (Jeff took all the close up picture.)
Jacob smiles as the sun goes down.
Katie is wondering WHY she is outside in her PJ's when she is supposed to be in bed. She is not enjoying this sunset.
Joshua is getting cold but he still smiles. He is just glad that he is NOT in bed.
Jeff and I had to take turns holding, and walking Hannah. She whined, fussed, and complained the entire time. Sunset could not come fast enough!!
Once the sun disappeared behind the canyon. We said, "Good Night" and went back to the bus. I wanted to stay around and watch the colors light up the sky but the children were cold and their attitudes were hot. Therefore, we just called it a night. Some things are better enjoyed without children under 8.:)
